SaaS Application Manager
to join a remote team based in Atlanta, GA. This role will lead the development, validation, deployment, and governance of a SaaS solution, ensuring it meets industry standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product owners, third-party software vendors, and internal stakeholders to build and enhance platform capabilities. This position requires managing the full application lifecycle, including testing and integrating IoT solutions to support business goals. Acting as the bridge between the business, technology teams, and end-users, the SaaS Application Manager will be the primary point of contact for application-related concerns. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the in-house subject matter expert for the SaaS solution, leveraging expertise in application development, integration, UI/UX principles, and IoT systems. Manage third-party SaaS application development contracts to ensure performance KPIs and delivery expectations are met. Work closely with product owners, sales teams, architects, and other stakeholders to prioritize and implement business requirements for the SaaS application. Oversee vendor development, quality assurance, and software release processes to align with company standards and industry best practices. Ensure SaaS development and operations align with internal DevOps practices and cloud strategies. Lead incident and problem management for production support, including escalation handling, resolution, and SLA governance. Design and execute project plans to ensure successful SaaS software deployments in coordination with firmware value streams. Manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from discovery to implementation, in collaboration with product owners and architects. Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables. Define and track KPIs for development teams, using agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Foster a culture of collaboration with external partners, leveraging a transformative or adaptive leadership style. Key Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting SaaS solutions. Strong understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS architectures. Familiarity with software architecture and design patterns. Experience working on IoT projects that integrate firmware and hardware is a plus. Knowledge of code review processes and coding standards enforcement. Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or Atlassian Jira and agile Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of API development, A/B testing, and low-code technologies is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Passion for emerging technology trends and a drive for innovation. Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Cloud Developer certifications are a plus.
