Candidates should be available to work events during Thursdays-Saturdays between 4 pm-12 am. Events typically last 2-4 hours.

The starting hourly rate is $30+/hr, with potential to increase up to $40+/hour with added responsibilities and equipment management.

POSITION OVERVIEW: MKTG Brand Ambassadors are brand enthusiasts who educate consumers on high-profile brands during on-, off-, and experiential special events. They deliver safe, engaging experiences and help consumers make informed brand decisions. They interact actively at the point of purchase and experience, aiming to reinforce or increase brand awareness. They embody the brand and build consumer trust through product knowledge and education.

Responsibilities include engaging consumers to recognize, prefer, and purchase our client brands. We hire personable, friendly, and professional Brand Educators who participate in promotional events and complete online training on client brands, including passing exams and delivering a final presentation. This position is an Occasional Employment role without guaranteed assignments. All employees must adhere to company policies and the NA Diageo Marketing Code.

PAY: $30+ per hour, plus mileage and expenses if applicable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in event management, setup, and breakdown

Engage consumers about brand preferences and recommendations

Distribute premium items as directed

Troubleshoot challenges during events

Build relationships with account staff

Participate in training and workshops

Report and provide feedback on events

Follow operating procedures and policies

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage and educate consumers during experience, purchase, and consumption

Humanize brands and build trust through education

Lead sampling journeys within legal and policy guidelines

Complete digital training and adapt to tech platforms

Arrive on time, in appropriate attire, prepared for promotions

Distribute premiums and follow responsible serving guidelines

Pre-merchandise accounts with POS

Use company debit card for expenses

Handle promotional materials and ensure proper care of company property

Complete post-event recaps and contribute to social media

Report on competitive activity and maintain professional appearance

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 21+ years old

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Availability of at least 20 hours per week

Comfortable working in retail outlets

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and carry heavy items

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Outgoing personality with a passion for brand advocacy

Previous promotional/marketing experience preferred

Responsible, reliable, punctual

Neat appearance and ability to work independently or in teams

Legal authorization to work in the US and valid US driver's license

Own transportation and bilingual skills are a plus
