You will be instrumental in shaping the way users interact with critical manufacturing data, driving efficiency and informed decision-making. What You’ll Do:

Research, prototype, and design features for data-rich applications used in manufacturing. Conduct user and usability testing to validate and refine your designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including users, product owners, business analysts, and engineers, to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional user experiences. Partner with other designers, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the quality of design across the team. Work on a team of product managers, engineers, and other UX designers for feature support. Create design specs for the features, mostly in the analytics space. Must-Haves:

Proven experience in user-centered design, demonstrating hands-on involvement throughout the entire design process, from user research to prototyping and implementation. A portfolio showcasing your expertise in delivering wireframes, UX flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, personas, and use case development. A passion for understanding diverse user groups and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, user-friendly solutions. Solid understanding of information architecture, design patterns, and interaction design principles. Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. Experience with promoting and conducting usability testing and user research. Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch or Figma. Candidates will need to have 5-7 years of industry experience. A mathematics background could be helpful. Candidates must include a link to their portfolio in the resume, showcasing experience with enterprise data-heavy applications and design skills. Nice-to-Haves:

Familiarity with the manufacturing domain or statistics. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.84 to $67.61 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
