Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of AWS infrastructure Build and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate code builds, testing, and deployments to AWS environments Configure and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana to collect, visualize, and analyze application and infrastructure metrics for performance optimization and troubleshooting Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline internal workflows and improve operational efficiency Collaborate with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and maintenance of cloud-based applications Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS services, DevOps tools, and best practices Qualifications
You have successfully completed your academic studies, preferably in the subject of Software Engineering, Software Development, or Computer Programming (or equivalent) with 2+ years of relevant work experience You are experienced in managing Windows and Linux server environments for optimal performance and stability You are experienced in developing, deploying, and managing solutions using AWS cloud services (including EC2, S3, CloudFormation, and IAM) You are proficient in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation templates You have a solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with DevOps tools like Ansible and Terraform You are skilled in containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS You are very familiar with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana You are proficient with scripting languages (e.g. YAML, JSON, Python, Bash) for automation purposes You have work experience of security best practices and networking principles within cloud-native environments, with a focus on safeguarding data and infrastructure against potential threats and vulnerabilities You are able to work independently and as part of a team in agile, fast-paced DevOps environments and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions You have a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous learning as well as excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
