The Project Engineer role is an entry-level position designed to help you learn construction techniques and how to work effectively with subcontractors. You will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support for projects, assisting in the administration of the field office to meet project profitability and schedule goals. Responsibilities

Act as the "information hub" for the project to ensure continuity of work. Assist the Preconstruction team with setting up bid documents. Develop relationships with the office, field, and subcontractors. Participate in weekly subcontractor meetings. Compile, copy, and distribute meeting notes in a timely manner, including meetings with owners, architects, and contractors. Create a value matrix for the assigned project, track key performance indicators, and distribute surveys. Learn scheduling, LPS documents, and the 6-week look-ahead process, including updates for various project meetings. Monitor and update weekly work plans, PPC, and constraints; complete monthly assessments of the Last Planner System. Assist with implementing Lean tools such as 5S, LPS, and VIP. Maintain all project drawings, specifications, and logs. Perform regular field visits to monitor safety, progress, and assess risks. Take and maintain jobsite photos. Prepare submittal registers and logs aligned with the project schedule. Assist with processing submittals and RFIs. Distribute architect's supplemental instructions. Assist in project close-out activities, including punch lists, warranty collection, samples, as-built drawings, and commissioning. Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Construction Management, Architecture, or related fields. Construction-related experience, including internships and academic projects. Basic knowledge of construction techniques and working with subcontractors. Ability to read and understand plans and specifications. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Basic estimating and scheduling skills are desirable. Demonstrated interest in learning, positive attitude, and adaptability. Strong work ethic, focus on quality, and a sense of urgency. Team-oriented, customer service focus, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate issues effectively and be resourceful in a dynamic environment. Initiative, responsibility, and understanding of Lean philosophy. Experience with ViewPoint is preferred. Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 About You
