Role & Responsibilities
• To maintain an IT lab.
• Build setups for different security tools such as EDRs, ASM, Cloudflare alike, Office 365 tools.
• Should have knowledge of various Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Should be an expert on AWS.
• Should be familiar with SIEM and SOAR Engineering.
• Should know cloud infrastructure to set up different sets of images for the lab.
• Should be an expert on basic tools like Crowdstrike and Office365; they should be very tech-savvy.
• Use various resources (acquired knowledge, knowledgebase, product documentation, etc.) to solve issues.
• Gather essential information needed for the skill-based teams to further handle the issue.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing (writing articles, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for resolved cases).
Preferred Candidate Profile
Engineers are expected to have intermediate knowledge of the following technologies, along with the ability to quickly advance those skills.
• English as a spoken/written language, with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field.
• At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
• Familiar with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, and Windows/Linux OS environments.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Basic knowledge of Networking/Internet Services is an advantage.
• Intermediate knowledge of infrastructure/network security is an advantage.
• Good knowledge and experience with security tools such as EDRs, ASM, Cloudflare is a must.
• Intermediate knowledge of EDR systems is a must-have.
• Good knowledge of O365 is a must.
