Applications Development Chemist Join an innovative global company leading the way in sustainable coating technologies as an Application Development Chemist. Salary:

$91,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Formulate and evaluate innovative resin systems providing critical research and development insights. Actively participate in project management and new product development, focusing on technical and commercial aspects for market introduction. Acquire in-depth portfolio knowledge, understanding the technicalities and market applications of products. Assist in the creation and organization of technical and environmental data, including documentation like technical sheets and product brochures. Provide expert technical support and guidance to the Sales and Marketing teams, enhancing customer engagement and service. Represent the company at professional forums and conferences, showcasing application expertise and advancing industry connections. Minimum Position Qualifications: 10 - 15 years of hands-on experience in formulation and application in product development, especially in air dry and bake systems. Proven background in a coatings/paint laboratory environment, with skills in milling pigments, formulation preparation, and using laboratory equipment such as rheometers. Strong understanding of lab safety protocols and equipment handling. Ability to perform various physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and long periods of standing or moving. Proficiency in English, with exemplary skills in experimental planning, data analysis, and report writing. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with solvent borne materials and polymers. Advanced knowledge and prior involvement in automotive coatings. Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent project management capabilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating teamwork and customer interaction. Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
