Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced
Commercial Lines Account Manager
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure that their accounts are effectively managed.
Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and new business. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with underwriters, producers, and other team members to provide comprehensive insurance solutions to clients. Analyze and assess client risk exposures, coverage needs, and market trends to provide informed recommendations. Prepare and present insurance proposals, including coverage options, pricing, and risk management strategies. Oversee the processing of policy transactions, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other documentation. Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing proactive risk management advice and claims support. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. Stay current with industry developments, market conditions, and insurance products to provide strategic guidance to clients. Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in commercial insurance account management or related role. In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management practices. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently manage priorities and deadlines. Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
