We are seeking a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This hybrid work role involves: Collaborating with virtualization teams to gather requirements, build, deploy, and provide technical leadership for VDI solutions supporting multiple locations and virtual desktop pools. Contributing to the organization's technology plan, ensuring seamless integration with network security infrastructure, and working effectively with various tech teams and vendors. Designing, upgrading, testing, and maintaining the VDI environment, troubleshooting system issues, and staying updated on industry trends. Providing expert guidance, ensuring adherence to development processes, and supporting operations with root cause and preventative analyses. Building tools for configuration management, automation, inventory, and resource management, and training team members. Qualifications: At least 7 years of recent experience in virtualization design, engineering, and supporting large-scale projects, including cloud-hosted VDI solutions. Bachelor's degree preferred. Skills in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix DaaS, NetScaler/ADC, Gateway Service, App Layering, XenServer, VMWare ESXi. Strong understanding of multi-site VDI environments and networking equipment. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and technical documentation.
