Piney woods of East Texas 50 miles to Tyler 120 miles to Dallas & Austin 150 miles to Houston GI physician to work collaboratively with the current general surgeons and assist with re-establishing the GI service line. The incoming GI will be the primary provider for scopes within the community. Hospital employed position covering one hospital Primarily an adult and geriatric patient base No clinic call requirements Hospitalists will admit patients as needed 10 days/month, including one weekend/month hospital call Dedicated clinic and surgery days, which will be determined by the oncoming physician ERCP is not required The ideal physician will be comfortable working in a solo setting and enjoys living and practicing in a rural community Generous compensation package offered to include base salary guarantee, wRVU bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan repayment assistance, along with stipends for early commitment while in training
