Job Summary
The Standard Missile 3 team seeks an experienced supply chain manager for the SM-3 IIA program, overseeing Material Program Managers onsite in Tucson, AZ. The role involves developing program strategies, interfacing with leadership, and ensuring flawless product execution from inception to contract closure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Material Strategies supporting customer requirements and program objectives
- Lead influence in a matrixed organization
- Brief leadership on supply chain status, risks, and opportunities
- Support proposal activities, including RFPs/RFQs and BOEs
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage purchase orders
- Manage financial aspects such as EV, budgets, and forecasts
- Resolve issues within and outside the organization
- Manage quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) and associated risks
Qualifications
- Typically requires: 12+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 10+ with a Master's
- Leadership experience in an IPT environment
- Knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and program management
- Experience with proposals, cost management, and prime contract requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Earned Value Management, SAP, Kinaxis, and various program types
- International procurement experience and Six Sigma certification
- Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
Additional Information
Salary range: $147,000 - $295,000. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), flexible schedules, and more. This role is U.S.-based, with no relocation assistance. The application window closes in approximately 40 days.
