The Team

A&M Restructuring Tax Services (RTS) advises on non-routine tax matters in bankruptcy and out-of-court restructurings, helping distressed companies manage tax issues, optimize tax assets, and identify risks and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on restructuring tax issues such as CODI, debt modifications, tax modeling, and Section 382 limitations.
• Conducting research on tax and bankruptcy regulations.
• Preparing financial summaries and managing data-driven analyses.
• Building financial models and client presentations.
• Engaging with clients and their advisors.
• Supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications

• CPA, JD (preferably with a bachelor's in accounting), Masters in Taxation, or LLM.
• Minimum 9 years in a mergers & acquisitions tax practice, with at least 6 years in restructuring tax.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and managing large data sets.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Desire for professional growth and ability to mentor juniors.

Additional Information

Salary range: $175,000 - $225,000 annually, plus discretionary bonuses. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Our culture promotes diversity, inclusion, and continuous development.
