We are seeking a seasoned Foundry Web Application Architect with a passion for technology, building, and deploying applications with stringent customer controls to join our team.

The Web Application Architect's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Focusing on defining foundry-specific design and architecture of a customer-facing cloud application, including system requirements, use cases, system flows, cloud systems architecture, and customer specifications that integrate and optimize cloud hardware and software solutions.
  • Engaging with customers to understand their requirements, with an emphasis on security, data protection, quality, and performance standards.
  • Being well-versed in cloud technologies and providing guidance to customers and internal development teams, as well as presenting in technical forums specific to the program.
  • Determining integrated hardware, software, and data architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
  • Driving readiness internally and externally with manufacturers and vendors for the application of new solutions, techniques, and methodologies to reference systems and customer designs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to design innovative enhancements for cloud systems that meet client and market expectations.
  • Maintaining documentation of specifications and best practices.

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum education requirements and qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, or a STEM-related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in architecting/designing cloud solutions on Azure or AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, or a STEM-related field.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher.
  • Experience with containers (Kubernetes), web services development, API, REST, C# (.NET Core), HTML5.
  • Experience with web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery, React, Angular, Micro-front-ends, GraphQL, MSAL, AG Grid).
  • Experience with automated testing tools like Jest, Cypress, Playwright.
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with ESLint, Prettier, Husky for code quality management.

Annual Salary Range for US-based roles: $177,200.00 - $250,160.00, dependent on location and experience.
