Description

As a System EPM, you will collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, algorithm, and software teams within TDG and across Apple to define and develop highly optimized hardware products. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Driving the development of system requirements based on experience targets and technology constraints.
  2. Identifying critical questions and organizing teams to find efficient solutions.
  3. Understanding the impact of technical decisions on customer experience and communicating these impacts clearly.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS in CE/EE/ME
  • 7+ years of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Understanding of consumer electronics system architectures
  • Ability to work through system-level development tradeoffs
  • Experience in planning and executing development in advanced consumer electronics products, including prototypes and overall product planning
  • Strong technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
  • Proactive, self-motivated, with good critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate effectively in rapid development cycles and changing environments
  • Willingness to travel internationally for development builds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-camera systems, display and optics technologies, or wearable consumer electronics
  • Experience leading diverse cross-functional teams to optimize product solutions
  • Experience managing vendor and CM partnerships, establishing build plans, and providing clear guidance

Apple offers a total compensation package that includes base pay, which ranges from $172,100 to $305,600, depending on skills, experience, and location. Employees can participate in stock programs, receive benefits such as medical, dental, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursements. Additional bonuses or relocation support may be available.
