The Cyber/Data/Privacy (c/d/p) practice group is seeking an associate to join our offices in New York, San Francisco, or Washington, DC. Cooley has over 30 attorneys focusing on these issues globally, working with emerging companies, public companies, and leading technology and financial institutions. The group's work includes advising on privacy and cybersecurity in transactions, incident response, investigations, and litigation.
Ideal candidates will have 4-7 years of experience advising on cyber/data/privacy compliance, including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, data security, and incident response. Candidates should have a strong academic background, client engagement skills, and excellent analytical and writing abilities.
The annual pay range is $310,000-$420,000, dependent on location and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, parental leave, and more.
