Our Payer Strategy and Contracting (PSC) Division helps clients optimize managed care contracts and develop value-based reimbursement strategies across inpatient, outpatient, behavioral health, post-acute, and ancillary services. We assist in contract negotiation, reimbursement design, and strategic planning for value-based care and risk programs.
Your Role: As a principal, you will lead complex engagements, manage client portfolios, and develop high-performing teams. You will also contribute to practice growth, business development, and thought leadership, representing ECG at a national level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client engagements and consulting staff, ensuring contractual and project deliverables are met
- Develop and oversee solutions that ensure long-term client success
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering growth and industry relationships
- Drive marketing and business development efforts, targeting $1.5+ million in annual revenue
- Contribute to firm culture, recruitment, and strategic initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven leadership in healthcare management consulting or senior executive experience in provider or payer organizations
- Deep expertise in managed care contracting, reimbursement, and healthcare strategy
- Strong record of managing complex projects, teams, and client relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and business development skills
- Master’s degree in business, health administration, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Willingness to travel at least 60%
Locations: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, San Diego, Washington DC. Hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days in-office.
Compensation: Estimated base salary $255,000 - $283,500, plus performance incentives, benefits including health coverage, 401(k), unlimited PTO, and wellness programs.
