Position Title: EEDW ECHS Program Coordinator
Supervisor: David Bowman, Project Director, Executive Director Four Corners Regional
Education Cooperative #1
Location: REC #1 program office, Farmington, NM
Responsibilities:
A. Collaborate with internal and external EEDW Team Members to
1. Implement research-based activities in 10 Early College High Schools related to
increasing enrollment in dual credit IT courses;
2. Maintain on-going support and guidance for school personnel regarding promoting and
supporting IT enrollment, dual credit enrollment;
3. Prepare resources for students and school personnel regarding dual credit IT courses and
the value of IT courses across career clusters;
4. Coordinate a Fall 2025 Student Technology conference and a Spring 2026 conference for
school personnel and higher education partners;
5. Prepare customized messaging and other communications for target students and
collaborate with school personnel on their delivery; and
6. Assist school personnel in utilizing support funding, including reviews of funding
requests, per established timelines;
B. Other responsibilities include
1. Collect data on research activities and student enrollments in IT courses;
2. Conduct semi-annual on-site visits to participating Early College High Schools;
3. Participate in meetings with project team, evaluation team, federal officers, and similar;
and
4. Other responsibilities as necessary for successful project implementation.
Desired Characteristics:
? Self-management of time and resources for effective performance.
? Technology skills for common business applications.
? Strong verbal interpersonal skills.
? Ability to analyze data relative to school-based activities.
? Understanding of dual credit processes and the Early College High School model in New
Mexico.
? Flexibility in responding to changing school, project, and other factors affecting project
implementation.
Position Qualifications
? 8+ years in program administration
? 5+ years in management of federally funded programs
? 5+ years in school administration
? Minimum Master's degree in an education-related field
Position funding is based on a federal grant that will automatically terminate on or before
December 31, 2026. This position will not continue past the maximum federal funding period.
