Position Summary
The Controls Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and programming industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and motor control systems. This role ensures automation reliability and supports continuous improvement projects in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and program Allen Bradley PLCs using RSLogix and Studio 5000
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and diagrams
• Maintain and repair AC/DC motors and related systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation projects
• Diagnose issues in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
Key Skills
• Allen Bradley PLC programming
• HMI/SCADA troubleshooting
• RSLogix / Studio 5000 proficiency
Educational & Other Requirements
• Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial controls
• Ability to program PLCs from scratch
• Strong understanding of control systems and machine automation

• This position is located onsite in the Dallas - Fort Worth Texas metroplex near Frisco, TX
