Title: High Voltage Test Technician - Power SystemsOffice location: San Jose, CA 95134 (onsite, no traveling required)Contract term length: 24 weeks (possibility to extend for 2 months, no opportunity to convert)Schedule: 9am - 5pm, Mon-Fri (40 hrs weekly, no OT)Job Description:As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for supporting key reliability focused goals for the Power Systems Team. You will be working alongside Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Firmware Engineers to collect crucial information for various critical projects across the company.Primary responsibilities:•Prepare test set up for testing the systems and sub systems of components used inPower Systems•Experience working with high voltage equipment - AC Voltage - 480V, DC Voltage -1000V and experience working with high current test equipment•Ability to assemble mechanical components of the test setup using techniques likebolting, drilling, etc.•Ability to wire together an electrical panel with components like power supplies,sensors, PCBs, etc. onto a Keysight DAQ (Data acquisition system)New Contractor Requisition Form•Ability to use basic test equipment like hi-pot tester, multimeter, etc.•Experience working with fluid connections and has worked with hoses, crimps, etc.•Document the test data onto the prepared template and review them with theresponsible engineer•Execute experimental plans and/or prepare samples for failure analysis•Work collaboratively with a diverse and passionate engineering team•Detail oriented, organized, and highly reliable approach to data collection anddocumentation•Safety-conscious and ready to actively promote safe behavior and lab operationsRequired Experience:•Hardware - Hi-pot, multimeter, DAQ, sensors•Software - Word, Excel, PowerpointPreferred Qualifications:•Experience in analyzing DAQ data in Excel and providing test feedback to engineers•Documenting data as per ISO 17025 standard for compliance testingEducation:HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training), AS degree in a Technical or STEM field#TB_EN
