Travel RN - Surgical ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position with required SICU experience and rotating day/night 12-hour shifts.Job Details•Position located in the Surgical ICU (SICU) of a hospital setting,•Rotating 12-hour shifts with approximately 3 weeks of days (0700-1930) and 3 weeks of nights (1900-0730); manager will confirm shift schedule during interview,•Expected to work every other weekend,•Float to Medical ICU (MICU) or act as patient observer as needed,•13-week assignment,Job Requirements•Active RN license in Wisconsin required at time of consideration,•Minimum of 2 years RN experience with SICU experience required,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required),•Preferred certifications include NIHSS and TNCC,•Trauma Level II experience preferred,•Strong communication skills with AIDET and customer service expectations,•First-time travelers accepted,Additional Information•Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), AIDET communication model, and hourly rounding are mandatory,•Participation in holiday coverage with only one holiday RTO allowed during assignment if multiple holidays occur,•Must participate in natural disaster or other emergency response activities as needed,•Compliance modules are completed during orientation and tracked via Kronos,•Travelers residing within a 60-mile radius of the facility are not eligible,•Cannot work as a traveler for more than 52 weeks at the facility without a one-year break in service,•COVID vaccine is not required for this position,•Required to provide two professional references, including one from a supervisor
