Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU assignment requiring SICU experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications.Job Details•Work in the ICU of a hospital setting,•Assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour variable shifts (0700-1930 and 1900-0730),•Schedule typically alternates 3 weeks of days and 3 weeks of nights, to be confirmed during interview,•Required to float to MICU and serve as a patient observer as needed,•Every other weekend is required,Job Requirements•Active RN license required; valid WI license must be in hand for consideration,•Minimum 2 years of RN experience and SICU experience required,•Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS required,•NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), TNCC, and prior Trauma Level II experience preferred,•Excellent communication with AIDET, strong customer service, and phone etiquette expected,•Two references required, including one from a supervisor,Additional Information•Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), AIDET communication, and hourly rounding are mandatory practices,•First-time travelers are accepted,•Travelers may not live within a 60-mile radius of the facility; local travelers are not eligible,•Participation in natural disaster or emergency response activities is mandatory,•If multiple holidays fall during the assignment, only one holiday request for time off will be accepted,•Scrub requirements and details to be discussed during onboarding,•COVID vaccine is not required,•Traveler assignments are limited to 52 weeks after which a one-year break in service is required
