We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinistspecifically a Haas Machinist (30/40) to join our dynamic team in Toledo, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, programming, and fabricating components with precision. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM $25-$35/hr **based on experience Duties Operate and set up CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce metal partsUse of Blueprints & Technical SpecificationsReview electronic or written blueprints and specifications for a job. Check accuracy of work against blueprints & specifications. Use of Materials & Operations Shape steel, aluminum, titanium, plastic, silicon and other materials. Select tools & materials for the job. Determine how much material to remove.Determine how fast or slow work-piece is fed into machine.Position work-piece on the drill press, lathe or milling machine. Cutting Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations. Determine how automated equipment will cut a part Determine cutting path Calculate where to cut or bore.Mark the work-piece to show where cuts should be made.Adjust cutting speed to compensate for harmonic vibrationsMonitor the accuracy of cuts Replace dull cutting tools Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, particularly with Haas 30/40Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
