American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position requiring EPIC experience and the ability to pass an EKG exam.Job Details•Work in the hospital's dialysis unit caring for patients with end stage renal disease, acute kidney injury, metabolic imbalances, dialysis access issues, or overdoses requiring hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis,•Patient population includes acutely ill individuals with medical-surgical or critical care diagnoses and apheresis cases with neurologic, renal, or hematologic/oncologic diseases,•Dialysis department equipped with 9 bays, 1 isolation room for Hepatitis B, and telemetry monitoring,•Central cardiac monitoring station and patient call system present in the nursing station,•Uses Tablo Dialysis Devices, Baxter Amia PD Devices, and Spectra Optia Apheresis Devices,•Day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (6:30 am - 7:00 pm) with rotating weekends,•Float required between three campuses as needed,•Call required on Sunday nights only,•Uses EPIC for charting; prior experience required,Job Requirements•Active, unencumbered RN license required at time of consideration,•Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,•Previous dialysis and EPIC experience required,•Must pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding with up to two attempts allowed,•Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,•Education must be verified through an approved third party and cannot be from institutions on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list,•No open cases permitted on background check,Additional Information•Provide hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis treatments in multiple settings, including bedside in the ICU for unstable patients,•Cardiac monitoring required for patients on telemetry or who need surveillance during treatments,•Support from certified hemodialysis technicians and a nursing secretary,•Average patient treatment stay is 4-5 hours in the unit,•Must complete all required onboarding modules during orientation (2-4 hours, unit-based),•Strict policy against tardiness and unexcused absences,•Requested time off must be submitted with application; no additional RTO accepted after submission,•First-time travelers will be considered,),•hash,:•1151386585044027543,
