American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level IV Labor and Delivery position requiring high-volume perinatal experience and advanced certifications.Job Details•Work in a Level IV Maternal Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting,•Unit features 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 14 monitored antepartum rooms,•Handles high-risk cases with 500+ deliveries per month,•Academic teaching environment with large private OB practices,•Full 24-hour in-house coverage by attending OBs, anesthesia, and NICU teams,•Perinatal Transport Program in place,•Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30,•Assignment length is 13 weeks,Job Requirements•Active Texas RN license,•Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery or perinatal experience in a high-volume setting required,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or Red Cross,•Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP required,•Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required,•Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required,•Preferred: 3-5 years perinatal experience in high-volume setting, S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification,•Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start,Additional Information•Engage in a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment supporting complex and high-risk deliveries,•Collaborate with an academic teaching team and private OB providers,•Expanding to a new Women's Tower in late 2025,•All travelers must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address,•Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced rate according to the radius rule, which varies by state,•Must have two separate professional references, valid Driver's License, and complete license verification in consideration materials,•COVID-19 vaccination is not required
