Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the Company also maintains primary regional offices in Australia, Singapore, Brazil, and Scotland, with local offices in other countries as required to support operations.Responsibilities:The Welder will report to the Rig Superintendent and will be responsible for safely and efficiently fabricating, cutting, modifying or repairing metal and steel devices, structures and piping as directed.The Welder may:Layout, cut and weld metal components as specified by drawings, welding diagrams, work orders, or verbal directions.Fabricate new structures and repair damaged equipment and structuresMaintain good housekeeping in work areaParticipate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs and in pre-tour weekly safety meetingsFollow Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.E.M.S.)Perform other duties as requiredBasic Qualifications:At least 18 years of agePossess or able to obtain a valid Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC).Any candidate selected for this position will not be allowed to begin work without a card in hand or proof from the TSA of a card "In Production" or "In Transit."
