Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,845 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: OR - Operating Room
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

• Serve as circulating nurse in the OR for the following cases:
• Robotic-assisted surgeries (Da Vinci and others)
• GU, GYN, general surgery, colorectal, breast, ophthalmology, and pain procedures
• Ensure safe and aseptic conditions during surgical procedures
• Verify all patient and surgical data (time-outs, consents, equipment needs, etc.)
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient safety and procedural flow
• Maintain and monitor sterile field integrity
• Facilitate intraoperative communication between the surgical team and support departments (lab, pathology, imaging, etc.)
• Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain awareness of procedural progress
• Document intraoperative details in the facility’s EMR system
• Support new staff or surgical residents as needed in a teaching hospital setting
• Float to other ORs within the main OR complex when necessary
• Experience in academic OR settings and comfort working with residents and surgical fellows

Strong circulating experience in robotic surgeries
