American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate fetal monitoring certification.Job Details•Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit,•Shift is 12 hours, with 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours,•Responsibilities include care for pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage, and triage issues,•Unit handles admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and both vaginal and C-section deliveries,•Commonly used equipment includes fetal monitors and Fetalink,•Charting is done in Cerner, and experience with this EMR is required,Job Requirements•Valid RN license for the District of Columbia is required and must be active at time of consideration,•Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP (AHA only), and AWHONN intermediate electronic fetal monitoring are required,•Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery experience in a U.S. hospital is required,•Experience with Cerner EMR is required,•Must provide a U.S. Social Security Number for consideration,•CPI training is mandated and may be completed at the facility,•Must reside at least 25 miles from the facility,Additional Information•Main duties include providing nursing care to laboring and pre/postpartum patients, supporting scheduled procedures, and handling triage,•Documentation is completed utilizing Cerner and Fetalink systems,•Two manager or supervisor references from the past 12 months are preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer,•First time travelers may be considered,•Required dress code, including scrubs, will be discussed at hire,•All time off requests (RTO) must be included at the time of consideration,),•hash,:•17537001414900446785,
