Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel position requiring specialized certifications and night shift availability.Job Details•Work in an OB/Gyn combined unit with labor, postpartum, and neonate patient populations,•8-bed unit specializing in labor, delivery, and post-partum care,•Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM,•Required to work every other weekend, with night shifts including Friday and Saturday,•No call or floating required,•Uses IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, fetal doppler, and syringe pumps,•Electronic Health Record systems used include MedHost and Centricity, with Centricity experience preferred,•Patient ratios vary by acuity,Job Requirements•Active RN license required,•Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience,•Certifications required: NRP, STABLE, AWHONN intermediate or advanced, ACLS (RQI certifications not accepted),•Experience in stabilization of critical newborns for transfer required,•Must not have been a permanent staff member at any LifePoint facility in the last 12 months,•Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility,•Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during contract,Additional Information•Responsibilities include care of laboring mothers, postpartum patients, well-baby care, and stabilization of critical newborns,•Common cases include management of term and late preterm patients, gestational hypertension, and gestational diabetes,•Team-oriented atmosphere requires flexibility and collaboration with LDRP staff,•Black scrubs required as dress code,•COVID vaccination required,•First-time travelers will be considered for this position
