American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring two years of LDRP and postpartum care experience with AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS, and NRP certifications.Job Details•Work in a Labor and Delivery unit covering labor, postpartum, OB triage, antepartum, and newborn care,•Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00 to 07:30,•Responsible for patients with diagnoses including labor and delivery, postpartum, OB triage, antepartum, and normal newborn,•Perform specialized procedures such as vaginal and cesarean deliveries, circulating in the OR, starting adult IVs, administering blood products, and managing drains, epidural and PCA pumps, insulin, and magnesium sulfate,•Use equipment for circulating in C-section, high and low risk antepartum and L&D, LDRP, OB-GYN, and couplet care,•Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3,•Epic EMR is used and required,•Floating to other units or facilities within the state is required as needed,Job Requirements•Active RN license (WA or Compact),•Minimum 2 years of recent experience in LDRP, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care,•Current certifications in AWHONN Intermediate, Basic Life Support (BCLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP),•Proficiency in fetal heart monitoring, IV starts, and circulating in the OR,•Experience with Epic EMR required,•Former permanent employees of any Providence facility must be separated for at least 3 months before eligibility,•Must provide at least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years,Additional Information•Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers and newborns, including routine and high-risk situations,•Expected to circulate in the OR for C-sections and assist with couplet care,•All travelers may be required to float to other units or facilities, refusal to float may result in assignment termination,•Minimal to no requested time off will be accommodated post-submission, with exceptions requiring approval,•Completion of onboarding modules, annual training, and timely submission of compliance documents is mandatory,•Reliable transportation is required; travel pairs must each have their own vehicle,•Housing should be secured prior to contract acceptance,•Local travelers approved at the travel rate,•Candidates residing within 50 miles may not be eligible, but exceptions may apply depending on local rules,),•hash,:•101219916740561633,
