American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring cardiac surgery experience and on-call availability.Job Details•Work in a hospital CVOR with 12 operating rooms including a hybrid OR,•Performs a variety of cardiac and thoracic procedures such as CABG on and off bypass, valve replacements, Bentall, TAVR hybrids, and VATS/lung cases,•Handles daily caseload of 35-40 cases,•Position follows a Monday-Friday schedule with no regular weekend shifts but includes significant on-call,•On-call is required with 1-2 sixteen-hour shifts (3p-7a) weekly and a full weekend on-call every fourth weekend,•Must be flexible to float to other operating rooms as needed,Job Requirements•Active RN license required,•3-5 years of CVOR experience preferred,•Charge nurse experience required,•Prior large or acute care OR experience in cardiac, urology, orthopedic, or general surgery preferred,Additional Information•Responsibilities include assisting with advanced cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, including pump and off-pump cases,•Must be available for call as scheduled with no time off permitted on holidays or the days immediately before or after,•Team-oriented environment with expectation to float as operational needs require
