The PTA will be responsible for implementing treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and will play a key role in supporting patients' functional improvement and recovery.Education Requirement:Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or related fieldLicensure & Certification:Active PTA License - RequiredRequired Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy AssistantStrong oral communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesKey Responsibilities:Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising physical therapistMaintain timely and accurate documentation for all patient sessionsCommunicate patient progress and any concerns to the physical therapist regularlyCoordinate with other healthcare disciplines as needed to ensure integrated patient careNotify the physical therapist of any changes in patient conditionRecommend appropriate durable medical equipment (DME) in collaboration with team membersParticipate in discharge planning and ongoing therapy recommendationsAttend clinical rounds, team meetings, and in-service training sessions as requiredSupervise PTA students during clinical affiliations when applicable
