If you're looking for a job that leaves you feeling fulfilled and valued, then look no further than Val-Matic Valve.SummaryCNC Machine Operators are responsible for all aspects of machine setup, and operate conventional manual, special purpose, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines on repetitive jobs to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts, managing daily programs and running the machines. CNC Machine Operators are responsible for maintaining equipment, inventory of materials and supplies, and can assist in training new employees.ResponsibilitiesReads job information and locates and loads correct fixture, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and program on machines such as CNC and manual lathes and machining centers, and completes documentation as required.Loads and unloads piece parts from machine and fixture during production run and performs periodic inspections.Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and makes minor adjustments to assure part is made to print specification, with assistance.Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.Conducts and records daily, weekly, and/or monthly maintenance tasks.Performs inspection of piece part to assure part is made to specification.Makes adjustments as needed to make piece parts conform to paint specifications.Changes process parameters as needed and makes adjustments to painting equipment to assure parts conform to print specifications.Loads and unloads piece parts from fixtures during production run and performs periodic inspections including wet and dry film thickness measurements.Perform necessary paperwork (labor tickets, inspection sheets, etc)Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time.Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.Responsible for safety and quality throughout productionResponsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.Reports all production waste/issues to Production Lead or SupervisorPerforms other duties as required by Supervisor ManagerFollows all company policies and procedures.QualificationsMust be able to operate/setup VTLHigh School Diploma or equivalent3+ years of previous experienceLanguage Skills - Ability to speak clearly and to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Mathematical Skills - Ability to use shop math.Ability to work in a fast paced environmentUnderstand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety trainingMust be able to understand verbal and written instructionsTroubleshoot problems and report issuesMust work well in team environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shiftUse of hands and fingers to perform job functionAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climbAbility to lift up to 50lbsStarting Wage $22 - $30/hrBenefitsWeekly PayHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceCompany Paid Short-Term Disability401k MatchTuition Reimbursement10 Paid HolidaysPTOFree Uniforms with laundry service$2000 Retention BonusEmployee Referral ProgramSafety equipment reimbursementA pre-employment Background Check and a 6-panel (no THC) Drug screen are required.Val-Matic® is an equal opportunity employer.
