Competitive 401(k) with employer match and several other benefits offered.SummaryProduces machined parts by operating a Lathe computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.Primary ResponsibilitiesInspects products during the machining operation to determine if parts meet specifications, complying with established standards and methods for inspection, testing, evaluation and calibrationFollow all job work order instructionsMust be able to run more than one machine where cycle time permitsComplete all required shop floor documentation for the job including both part dimensional and visual inspectionMaintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; reports to management/maintenance the need for machine repairsUnderstands and complies with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contractual requirementsPreferred QualificationsMachine Tool Technology degree (completed or pursuing)A minimum of 1 year's experience operating a CNC mill machineStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to read and understand blueprintsStrong attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skillsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, continuous mental and visual attention is needed. The ability to stand for a shift, sit, talk and hear is frequently required. Lifting up to 40 pounds is required.
