Physical Therapist Position Overview:US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll help patients recover from foot and ankle conditions, injuries, and surgeries, while restoring function and improving quality of life. Our patient population includes individuals of all ages, from athletes to elderly patients with chronic conditions. As part of our collaborative clinical team, you will work closely with podiatrists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about making a meaningful impact on patients' mobility, comfort, and independence.Physical Therapist Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Conduct thorough evaluations, including patient history, physical examinations, and functional assessments.Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals.Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and education on injury prevention and recovery.Accurately document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in EMR systems.Discharge patients when treatment goals are met, and provide follow-up recommendations or referrals as appropriate.Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient care.Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment.Comply with HIPAA and all regulatory standards regarding patient confidentiality and documentation.Physical Therapist Qualifications:Required:Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practiceGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)Current CPR certificationStrong clinical judgment and manual therapy skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationProficiency with documentation and EMR systemsPreferred:1+ year of outpatient orthopedic experience, ideally with lower extremity rehabilitationBilingual (Spanish a plus)Familiarity with foot and ankle post-op protocolsPhysical Therapist Pay Range:$46- $54Core CompetenciesPatient-Focused Care: Demonstrates empathy, responsiveness, and dedication to improving patient outcomes.Communication: Effectively communicates with patients, families, and team members.Team Collaboration: Works well in a multidisciplinary environment; contributes to a positive team culture.Problem Solving: Uses clinical reasoning and critical thinking to deliver optimal treatment solutions.Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment; flexible with patient scheduling and clinic needs.Schedule & TravelFull-time position; schedule may vary depending on clinic needsOccasional travel to nearby clinics or coverage as neededPhysical Therapist Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here represent those required to perform essential job functions.
