Mold Maintenance Technician

Summary:The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely performing essential duties associated with the job while maintaining a high-level quality and efficiency.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Great Attention to detail Work well with others Mechanically inclined Willingness to learn new things. Able to read calipers. Willing to get hands dirty Be able to disassemble and assemble different things properly Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area Performs other tasks as directed by supervisor Familiarity with Machine tools such as lathes, Mills, grinders (preferred)Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneQualifications: Manual dexterity and coordination Ability to read and comprehend work instructions Ability to read blueprints (preferred) Knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel)Education and/or Experience: High school diploma preferredMathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide Proficient in measuring in tenths with tools such a micrometersReasoning Ability Ability to recognize non-compliance to work standards and contact appropriate supervision or management staffCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: None requiredPhysical Demands: Extended hours standing and repetitive tasks Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds regularlyWork Environment: Manufacturing environment with associated noises, smells and temperatures
