Overview
The Travel L&D RN will provide comprehensive nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care.

Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care:
- Deliver nursing care to antepartum triage, active labor, postpartum (mother and baby), and special care nursery patients.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:4.
- Clinical Competence:
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in care planning.

Supervision:
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Additional Notes:
- Fingerprints for all NM travelers are required.
- No floating or call requirements.
