Job Description - CNC Swiss MachinistResponsibilities:Ensure we meet customer needs and maintain a high level of service.Prioritize production sequence based on customer demand and lead time.Assist operations to meet shipping deadlines according to sales forecasts or customer orders.Interface with Saws, Mills, Lathes, Deburr, Secondary Operations, Warehouse and other staff.Investigate any discrepancies and notify Management.Tumbling partsGaging & Quality Control for accuracyFollow standard operating procedures and our ISO 9001 proceduresPerform other related duties as required.Requirements:1-2 years of manufacturing work experience / schoolingExcellent organizational, time management and problem resolution skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up with supervisors on completion of tasks.Setup tools in holders (drills, taps, inserts, end mills)Load tools into the machine and set/touch off toolsBe able to read and make small edits to Fanuc G and M style programmingAbility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and/or environment.Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.Preferred previous experience working in a high-performance team setting.Detail-oriented, highly organized, team player.Experience with LEAN practices / methodologies.Ability to read calipers and micrometers and additional measuring equipmentThis person(s) will be responsible for several machines working in a fast paced culture with several other employees. Multiple set ups will be required each shift.
