We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our staff.Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. As a PTA at Royal Plaza Health and Rehab, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitative services to our residents. Your role will involve assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercises, and documenting patient progress. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.Responsibilities:Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by licensed physical therapists.Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of a therapist.Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely.Provide hands-on assistance to residents during therapy sessions.Educate residents and their families on therapeutic procedures and exercises.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.Requirements:Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.CPR certification (current).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred.Benefits:Competitive pay commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan (401k)Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays).Professional development opportunities and continuing education support.
