Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatry Position - Muskegon, MichiganAcademic-Affiliated Growth Opportunity Premier Lakeside CommunityRecruitWell is working with a leading health system in Muskegon, MI to identify a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time inpatient psychiatry position. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive behavioral health environment, with opportunities for teaching, leadership, and professional growthPosition Overview:
- Role: Inpatient Psychiatrist
- Location: Dedicated Behavioral Health Unit - Muskegon, MI
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexible within that framework)
- Call: 1:4 weekend rotation (additional shifts available for extra pay)
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage adult inpatient treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
- Participate in daily clinical rounds and collaborative team discussions
- Work closely with a fully staffed multidisciplinary team: APPs, RNs, social workers, case managers, and other specialists
- Document care accurately using Epic EMR
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in an academic-affiliated setting
- Opportunity to expand into outpatient care, leadership, or research, based on interest
- Board Certified (or Truly Board Eligible within 2 years of eligibility)
- Open to recent graduates or experienced providers
- Not accepting Locums or candidates with lapsed board certification
