In this Level 4 position, you will work with minimal supervision while providing exceptional care for patients with emergency, acute, and intensive care needs. You'll have the opportunity to lead by example, act as a preceptor for new hires, and contribute to the department's clinical excellence and patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities: Deliver competent and compassionate respiratory care across emergency, acute, and critical care settings Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to implement and evaluate respiratory care plans Function as a clinical leader and resource to staff Support onboarding and training of new team members Utilize AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines and organizational protocols to ensure best practices Document and communicate effectively using clinical information systems Navigate department-specific and hospital-wide electronic resourcesTechnical and Informatics Requirements: Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, shared drives, and printer/fax use Ability to navigate patient care and monitoring devices Experience with nurse call and communication systems (e.g., Ascom) Competency in locating and evaluating online clinical resources and literature Proficiency in accessing and printing patient education materialsQualifications:Education: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited programLicenses/Certifications (Required): Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NBRC Valid PA License to practice Respiratory Care BLS (Basic Life Support)Preferred Certifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)Experience: Minimum 2 years of respiratory care experience Pediatric care experience strongly preferredWhy Join Us?
