Collectively, we are committed to a simple management approach, which influences our company culture and our management style.MACHINISTESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperate bolt forging machine and press machineInspect products to ensure quality by using precision measuring instruments, gages, and visual inspection.Process materials on production equipmentReport daily production totalsDetect and report defective materialsCheck parts in process as directed by work instructionsFill out part identification tagsMove parts using pallet jacks, hoists, or forkliftsMaintain cleanliness of the work areaIdentify and document downtimeIdentify and document scrapAssist other operators as needed during change oversQUALIFICATIONSOperate bolt forging machine and press machineTo perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Ability to read and understand technical instructionsGood eye hand coordinationBasic math skillsExperience with handheld measuring tools such as calipers and micrometersAbility to be trained to set up coils and set diesPositive attitude/team playerMust have experience in die changeover and set up of stamping presses.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMinimum one-year related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.High school diploma or GED required.Hours: 7AM - 5PM, Monday-Friday, overtime availableWork Location: Houston, TX 77041Job Type: Full-timeHourly Rate: $16.50-18.00Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWe are an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled employer.
