Infectious Disease Physician

• Type: Permanent, full-time

• Location: Yonkers, NY (Community-based hospital)

• Role: Inpatient & outpatient infectious disease physician with academic opportunities

• Perform inpatient infectious disease consultations (medicine, surgery, ICU, long-term care)

• Staff 1-2 half-day outpatient clinics per week

• Provide remote telemedicine coverage for off-site facilities

• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship & infection control initiatives

• Share call responsibilities (1 weeknight per week + 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks)

• Teach medical residents and students; potential academic appointment

• Option to participate in research & quality improvement projects

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (flexible based on coverage)

• Clinic: 1-2 half days weekly

• Call: Shared rotation; telemedicine available

• MD/DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Infectious Disease

• Eligible for NY medical license & DEA

• Strong clinical & diagnostic skills; teaching interest a plus

• Inpatient & outpatient experience preferred

• Base Salary: $250K-$275K+ (commensurate with experience)
