Job DescriptionCNC Machinist - 2nd ShiftLocation: Columbus, NEPay: $18.50/hourSchedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Position Summary:We are hiring CNC Machinists for skilled positions on 2nd shift. This is not a basic machine operation role-our machinists are hands-on, detail-focused, and self-driven professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines to produce parts within tight tolerances Read and interpret highly detailed blueprints and technical drawings Use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, snap gauges, and no-go gauges Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy within thousandths of an inch Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety protocols and procedures consistentlyRequirements: High school diploma or GED Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Basic math, computer, and keyboarding skills Previous CNC machining experience preferred Ability to work independently and solve problems on the floorWhat We're Looking For: A self-sufficient, motivated team member who enjoys technical challenges Someone who takes pride in precision work and is comfortable working with tight tolerances A professional who understands and values safety as the top priorityWhy work for Advance Services, Inc.?
