Ammons Way, Littleton, CO 80123 Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will join an 18-bed full-service Emergency Department equipped with vital utilities and a strong support team, committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care. Unit Information: The Emergency Department at this site treats an average of 1,100 patients monthly, offering comprehensive services including a helipad, laboratory facilities, and around-the-clock imaging services (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound). The ED features resuscitation rooms, isolation rooms, and a behavioral health safe space, ensuring every patient receives timely and expert treatment. Responsibilities: - Provide patient assessment and care for a diverse patient population in the Emergency Department.- Administer medications, perform 12-lead EKGs, IV therapy, wound care, splinting, and cardiac monitoring.- Engage in resuscitation, ventilator setup, airway management, and the titration of vasopressor drips.- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans effectively.- Adhere to unit policies including protocols for Stroke and Cardiac alerts, sedation procedures, and transfer processes. Requirements: - Active Colorado or Compact RN license is required.- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIH, ENPC (must have been taken once).- Previous Emergency Department experience is preferred; strong critical thinking and clinical skills are essential.- Must be a dynamic individual who works well in a team and is proactive in patient care. Preferred Qualifications: - NRP certification.- BSN or MSN degree.
