RN to patient ratio - 1:4, ranging from young adult to geriatric Monitoring patients with medical equipment such as catheters, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators and cardiac monitors Care for patients transitioning out of the ICU requiring more care and attention than patients on a general medical-surgical unit Frequent patient assessments and proper escalation of a patient's change in medical condition Evidence of graduation from an accredited National League of Nursing School.
