This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical nursing. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and are dedicated to patient advocacy. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Assist in the preparation of the operating room, including sterilization of instruments and readiness of the surgical environment.- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and maintain accurate patient records.- Educate patients and their families on pre-operative and post-operative care. Requirements: - Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the operating room nursing specialty.- Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS at the time of submittal; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start.- Local Candidates: Local applicants are welcome with some additional accommodation options.- Compliance: Must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required.- On-Call Requirements: Availability for on-call duty 2-3 days per week. Facilities: - Multiple hospital locations may require travel (within 20 miles).- Free parking is available for all staff in unrestricted spaces. Special Notes: - All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront with your application as late submissions are unlikely to be approved.- A strict adherence to compliance documents is necessary, with a deadline set for each contract week.
