Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are:
- Work closely with customers to resolve quality concerns and analyze product performance.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
- Conduct product measurement testing and statistical analysis.
- Oversee first article inspections, capability studies, and PPAP documentation.
- Drive process validation, Gage R&R, and PFMEA activities.
- Perform internal audits and support ISO quality management system compliance.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Quality Engineer will have the following:
- Strong background in plastic injection molding and metrology.
- Proficient in reading complex part prints and applying geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with SPC, SQC tools, and statistical data analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
