Job Description
The CNC Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the VP of Operations and be responsible for:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis milling and turning centers.
- Design efficient workholding and fixturing solutions to ensure repeatability and precision.
- Program CNC machines using Open Mind hyperMILL (experience with ESPRIT or Siemens NX is a plus).
- Collaborate with design engineers during DFM reviews to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions, setup sheets, and inspection plans.
- Continuously improve cycle times, tool life, and part quality through process optimization and root cause analysis.
- Interface with quality assurance to resolve non-conformances and support corrective actions.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in CNC machining, process engineering, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX, or similar).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining tolerances.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation processes.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machine setup and troubleshooting.
