Job Description
The CNC Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the VP of Operations and be responsible for:
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis milling and turning centers.
  • Design efficient workholding and fixturing solutions to ensure repeatability and precision.
  • Program CNC machines using Open Mind hyperMILL (experience with ESPRIT or Siemens NX is a plus).
  • Collaborate with design engineers during DFM reviews to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions, setup sheets, and inspection plans.
  • Continuously improve cycle times, tool life, and part quality through process optimization and root cause analysis.
  • Interface with quality assurance to resolve non-conformances and support corrective actions.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in CNC machining, process engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining tolerances.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation processes.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machine setup and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
