Job Description
- Develop and implement inspection and test plans for products and processes.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and drive resolution.
- Support internal and external quality audits and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure quality standards.
- Review and approve quality documentation and reports.
- Monitor quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and manage supplier-related quality issues.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality roles.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001) and regulatory standards.
- Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Familiarity with GD&T, inspection methods, and precision measurement tools.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with supplier quality management and audits.
- ASQ certification (CQE or similar) preferred but not required.
