Mechanical Engineer HVAC

We have been retained by our client, an established Industrial Engineering firm in Houston, TX, to find a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in HVAC design and systems. This role involves working on industrial and commercial projects, providing design, analysis, and technical support to deliver high-performing, energy-efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• Conduct load calculations and energy modeling for system efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, project managers, and clients.
• Provide field support, site visits, and coordination during construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of HVAC design experience, preferably within industrial or commercial environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software (e.g., Trane TRACE, Revit, etc.).
• Strong understanding of mechanical codes, standards, and energy efficiency principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
